A family member went in and ordered the bed for me. I had already visited the Fayetteville location myself, so I knew exactly what I wanted. Despite that, Yun Ni still asked my family member to check if I wanted an adjustable bed. Yun Ni got on the phone and asked me. I said no. At no point did Yun Ni mention that the box spring included would be a 9-inch box spring. When the bed was delivered, three men arrived. I specifically asked them not to remove the clean items from the box in the hallway because the building hallways are extremely dirty. When I went downstairs to the entrance after they left a tenant had left dog waste in the hallway. Once the bed was set up, one of the workers—whose green underwear was showing—had his phone held up in a way that made me uncomfortable. I’m not sure if he took a picture or not, but it felt very out of place, especially inside my home. I didn’t immediately realize it, but the bed was far too high with the 9-inch box spring. The mattress itself is already about 9–11 inches, so the height was excessive. When I called back, Yun Ni acted as if she didn’t understand what I was asking for and why I needed a lower box-spring replacement. The back-and-forth over “box spring vs. bunky board” only made the conversation more confusing. I kept asking for clarity about whether the 2-inch option was similar in feel to the 9-inch one they delivered. After repeating my question several times, I finally received a clear answer. They did eventually provide the replacement. Just so you know, the bunky board is a black board, not a traditional box spring. Depending on your height, switching to the bunky board will make getting into the bed much easier.
