What size round dining table do I need?
Start with how many people you'll seat most nights, then measure your room.
- 35 inches, for small spaces: The Abbingdon 3-piece set is a drop leaf table with two chairs, made for apartments and dorm rooms. More compact options are in small dining room sets.
- 47 to 48 inches, for four: The Brookgate table is 47.25 inches across. The Ciara and Kendall sets include 48-inch tables, and Kendall's page describes its 48-inch table as seating four adults.

As a general guideline, leave about 36 inches between the table edge and the nearest wall or furniture so chairs can pull out. Allow closer to 48 inches if that space is a walkway.
