Q&A answers generated with AI assistance.
What materials are used in the construction of the frame and legs?
This stool is built with a sturdy walnut wood frame, a premium material known for its durability and rich natural grain. The tapered legs are crafted from wood-pressed grain bamboo, a highly sustainable material favored in high-quality furniture for its exceptional strength and resistance to warping or cracking over time.
How do I know if this stool is the right height for my kitchen counter?
This counter-height stool stands at a total height of 37 inches. According to industry standards, counter stools are designed to pair with kitchen islands or tables that are 34 to 36 inches high. This configuration provides the recommended 10 to 12 inches of legroom between the seat and the underside of the counter, ensuring a comfortable dining experience.
Is this swivel stool a good option for a small apartment or narrow kitchen?
Yes, this stool is particularly well-suited for compact urban living. With a streamlined 18.5-inch width and a 360-degree swivel mechanism, it allows users to enter and exit the seat effortlessly without having to push the stool back. This functional design saves valuable floor space and helps prevent the legs from scuffing floors in tight quarters.
Does this stool provide enough support for sitting for long periods?
While many minimalist stools prioritize style over comfort, this model features a full backrest and a padded square seat. The high-back design provides essential ergonomic support for your spine, making it a comfortable choice for everything from morning coffee to working remotely at your kitchen island.
What is the best way to clean and maintain the upholstery?
The stool features gray faux leather upholstery, a high-performance material that offers the sophisticated look of leather with the added benefit of easy maintenance. For daily care, our experts recommend simply wiping the surface with a soft, damp cloth. For occasional spills, a mild soap and water solution is effective, making this an ideal choice for high-traffic kitchens or families with children.
How does the Mid-Century Modern style of this stool fit into a contemporary home?
The "Abinger" stool bridges the gap between vintage and modern aesthetics. The tapered legs and walnut finish are hallmarks of Mid-Century design, while the sleek gray upholstery acts as a versatile neutral. This combination allows the stool to add a touch of warmth and architectural interest to a contemporary, minimalist, or even industrial-style kitchen.

3.7 out of 5 stars
It’s not what it appears to be in picture. It’s more like a child’s chair. Not impressed with them
Too small
These chairs are very small. Adults weighing more than 140 can not fit comfortably.
A good buy…

Love it!!!
don't buy before seeing them!
these cost over 200 a piece and are awful! If we had not destroyed the boxes opening them up i would had tried to return these! almost $1000.00 in 4 stools that look like they came from a cheap department store. So disappointed in these - they just look cheap! They sit okay - not the best but okay - narrow seat area, I really can't point a finger on one thing about them that I do like, I just wish I hadn't purchased these, now we will have to keep them for awhile and look elsewhere later... better to see some products before you buy and this was def. one i wish i did not buy on line! All my other purchases from Rooms to Go i have went to the store and purchased and been very satisfied but this purchase awful! again lesson learned.
