I’m very happy with our Tempur-Pedic flat bases. We previously had a Serta adjustable base, but it transferred too much movement, so we could feel every time the other person moved. With the Tempur-Pedic flat bases, there is virtually no motion transfer, and the mattress feels properly and consistently supported. We’re also very happy that we chose to stick with authentic Tempur-Pedic products. The bases were incredibly easy to set up—just cut away the wrapping and they’re ready to go. They were also light enough that I was able to move them myself. The king-size base comes as two separate twin bases, which makes it much easier to move and set up. It also works especially well with a split king because the two sides remain independent, with essentially no movement transferring from one side to the other. Overall, we’re very happy with the purchase and would absolutely recommend these bases.

The Flat Foundation is great support for the TempurPedic. We got the split foundation to navigate narrow stairs in an old house. My only regret is that I opted for the 5" instead of the 9". My last mattress felt like it sat way too high but the TempurPedic is a much more stream-lined mattress without a lot of fluff and bulk so the whole set up sits considerably lower. The 9" would have been a better fit but the 5" is fine for now. I have old dogs and this makes it easier for them to navigate the height of the bed. I do wish they offered a while version as the dark charcoal color is visible through my white linen bed skirt.
