Alison II Brown 3 Pc King Upholstered Bed

Regular maintenance is essential for preserving the look of fabric furniture. Based on our care recommendations, you should vacuum the upholstery with a soft-brush attachment at least once a month to prevent dust and allergens from settling into the deep diamond-patterned tufting. For accidental spots, use a clean cloth with warm water and a light detergent, blotting gently—never rubbing—to protect the fabric's texture and ensure the tufting remains crisp and secure.

For households with pets, the primary concern is often pet hair and claws. This bed features a fabric upholstery that is more resistant to snagging than loose-weave linens. While fabric can attract dander, the recessed buttons of the diamond tufting are less likely to be caught by a pet than more prominent decorative elements. Using a specialized upholstery vacuum tool or a high-quality lint roller will easily keep the surface free of hair and looking professional.

Fabric-covered beds can be a comfortable addition to any home, including those in humid areas. Because fabrics are naturally more porous than wood or metal, we suggest maintaining a well-ventilated environment to prevent moisture from being trapped. Regularly vacuuming the headboard not only removes dust but also helps air circulate through the fabric fibers, keeping the materials feeling fresh and dry even in damp coastal conditions.

Yes, this bed is designed as a panel system that requires the use of a foundation or box spring. Utilizing a sturdy, flat base is a hallmark of proper mattress care, as it provides the center support necessary to prevent warping or sagging over time. Both the mattress and foundation are sold separately, giving you the flexibility to choose a support system tailored to your specific comfort needs.

While this king-sized bed has a substantial 86.5-inch width, the wingback design serves to anchor the room, creating a sense of cozy enclosure without necessarily overwhelming the space. The 60-inch height provides a vertical focal point that can actually make your ceilings appear taller. To maintain a balanced scale in smaller rooms, we recommend choosing nightstands that sit just below the headboard’s wings to avoid a cluttered visual line.
