Basel Ivory 7'10" Square Rug

We highly recommend using a high-quality rug pad. Because this rug has a low 0.25-inch profile, a pad provides essential cushioning for comfort, prevents the rug from shifting or slipping on hard flooring, and acts as a protective barrier to extend the life of both the rug and your floors.

Square rugs are a sophisticated design choice specifically engineered to bring balance to square-shaped rooms or to define distinct zones within a larger open-concept living area. Measuring 7'10" on all sides, this rug is ideal for centering beneath a square dining table or creating a symmetrical seating arrangement in a modern urban loft or a sunroom.

Yes. With a sleek 0.25-inch depth, this rug features a low-profile pile that is less susceptible to crushing or matting under heavy foot traffic. This thin profile also makes it a practical choice for areas where door clearance is a priority, allowing doors to glide over the surface without catching or bunching the fabric.

To preserve the "cool ivory" background and sharp black details, we recommend regular vacuuming without a beater bar to prevent fiber agitation. For spills, prompt spot cleaning with a clean, dry cloth and a mild detergent is the most effective way to prevent stains from setting. For long-term care, professional cleaning is recommended every 12-18 months.

At 94 inches by 94 inches (approximately 7'10" square), this rug is perfectly scaled for medium-sized rooms. It provides ample coverage to ground a five-piece dining set or to sit comfortably under the front legs of a sofa and two accent chairs, creating a cohesive and well-proportioned "conversation zone" in your home.

While ivory provides a clean and airy look, the "Basel" design is strategically accented with slender black strokes and an oversized circular motif. This graphic contrast, combined with the tailored border stripes, is excellent for masking minor surface wear and small spots that might be more visible on a solid-colored ivory rug, making it more forgiving for everyday use.

This rug is well-suited for active households. The low pile height prevents pet hair and allergens from becoming deeply embedded in the fibers, making it much easier to keep clean with regular vacuuming. Furthermore, the lack of high loops or shaggy fibers means there is less risk of pet claws snagging the material.
