From the lattice look of open space and geometric simplicity to the handsome design elegance of the panel to the knockouts that frame the sleigh with open solidity, each headboard delivers unparalleled style and warmth.
A standard panel base design with patented reversible rails is juxtaposed against the arresting design of the arched base, each offering two equally handsome looks but completely different styles to choose from.
Each drawer is constructed using English and French dovetailing for strength and stability, top drawers are lined with felt to safeguard delicate items such as jewelry and brushed chrome metal drawer pulls in a round or bar shape offer a hint of modern accenting.

Q&A answers generated with AI assistance.
How does this upholstered bed hold up in a home with pets?
This bed is upholstered in a smooth and durable fabric designed to withstand the rigors of a busy household. The deep black color is excellent for concealing darker pet hair and minor everyday wear. For pet owners, we recommend regular maintenance with a lint roller or vacuum to prevent fur and dander from settling into the fabric weave, ensuring the bed stays hygienic and fresh.
How should I clean and maintain the black fabric headboard?
To preserve the premium look of the black upholstery, our care experts recommend regular vacuuming with a soft brush attachment to remove dust and household allergens. For minor stains or body oil marks on the headboard, you can spot clean by lightly applying a solution of mild soap and water with a clean cloth. We advise against using harsh chemical cleaners, as they may damage the fabric's smooth finish or the silver-finished nailhead trim.
What design details define the style of this headboard?
The headboard features a sophisticated reverse arched design that adds a contemporary architectural element to the bedroom. It is meticulously accented with silver-finished nailhead trim, which provides a striking metallic contrast against the black fabric. This combination of classic tailoring and modern lines makes the bed a versatile piece that complements both transitional and contemporary decor.
Is this queen-size bed a practical choice for a smaller apartment bedroom?
With dimensions of 66.25"W x 88"D x 54"H, this bed offers a substantial contemporary presence without a bulky footprint. The 54-inch headboard height is specifically well-suited for urban apartments or rooms with standard ceiling heights, providing a decorative "focal point" without overwhelming the visual space. Its streamlined block legs and arched silhouette help maintain an open feel in more compact living environments.
Does this bed require a box spring or foundation?
Yes, the Genoa II 3-piece queen bed is designed for use with both a mattress and a foundation or box spring (sold separately). Utilizing a proper foundation provides the essential flat, sturdy support needed to prevent mattress sagging and warping, which is often a requirement for maintaining your mattress warranty and ensuring long-term sleeping comfort.
Is the fabric on this bed suitable for more humid or coastal climates?
The Genoa II is crafted with durable synthetic-blend fabrics that are generally more resilient to moisture than 100% natural fibers. In humid or coastal areas, we recommend ensuring the bedroom is well-ventilated and vacuuming the upholstery regularly to prevent dust buildup. This proactive care helps maintain the fabric’s breathability and prevents the trapped odors sometimes associated with damp environments.
