Q&A answers generated with AI assistance.
What are the benefits of the reversible cushions on this sofa?
This sofa features fully reversible back and seat cushions, which is a significant advantage for long-term durability. By periodically flipping and rotating the cushions, you ensure even wear across the foam cores and fabric surfaces, effectively doubling the lifespan of the seating compared to fixed-cushion models. Additionally, these cushions are finished with double-welted boxed borders, a hallmark of quality tailoring that provides extra reinforcement at the seams to maintain a crisp, structured shape over years of family use.
Will this sofa be difficult to move into an apartment or a room with narrow hallways?
While this is a standard full-sized sofa with an 88-inch width, its 38-inch depth and 37-inch height make it manageable for most standard residential entryways. For tight urban apartments or homes with narrow corridors, we recommend measuring your doorway's clear width. The block legs are typically removable, which can provide additional clearance during delivery. Its stationary, non-modular design ensures a sturdy, stable feel once placed, making it a reliable anchor for traditional living room layouts.
Is the textured chenille fabric a good choice for high-traffic family rooms?
Yes, the upholstery is a high-performance blend of 90% polyester and 10% viscose. Polyester is highly valued in busy households for its inherent strength and resistance to stretching and pilling, while the addition of viscose provides an exceptionally soft, "irresistible" hand-feel. This tightly woven, textured chenille is particularly effective at hiding minor wear and resists snagging better than looser weaves, making it an excellent candidate for homes with children or pets.
Does the "Arctic" blue color and traditional style work well in different climates?
The cool "Arctic" blue hue and textured chenille are versatile choices for various geographic locations. In humid coastal or southern climates, the polyester-heavy blend is particularly beneficial as it is more resistant to mildew and moisture absorption than 100% natural fibers like cotton or linen. Stylistically, the traditional rolled arms and pillow back design offer a timeless aesthetic that fits as comfortably in a breezy coastal cottage as it does in a classic suburban den.
How do I clean and maintain a chenille sofa to keep it looking new?
To maintain the "Arctic" blue luster and texture of the chenille, our care experts recommend regular vacuuming with a soft brush attachment to remove dust and debris that can abrade fabric fibers. For spills, the 90% polyester content allows for easy spot cleaning; we recommend blotting the area immediately with a clean, damp cloth and a mild soap-and-water solution. Always avoid harsh chemical cleaners, which can break down the viscose fibers and alter the fabric's soft texture.
What design elements define the quality of the Cindy Crawford Home collection?
The Cindy Crawford Home collection focuses on "timeless family-style seating" by blending high-end design with practical durability. This sofa demonstrates that expertise through its use of padded rolled arms for added comfort and a sturdy block leg foundation. The inclusion of coordinated accent pillows and the use of high-quality upholstery materials ensure the piece provides a designer look that is engineered to withstand the rigors of daily life.

I will love it once it is replaced with a new one
Don't Purchase
I've had the sofa for two weeks and the cushions have already flattened. The sales person told me to put a wooden board under the cushions and maybe cover it with fabric so it doesn't stand out. A NEW $1000 sofa should not go flat that quickly and the only solution is to put a piece of wood under the cushions. VERY DISAPPOINTED. and would not recommend you to anyone.
