Q&A answers generated with AI assistance.
What is the benefit of the double-welted boxed borders on the cushions?
Double-welting (the fabric piping on both the top and bottom edges of the cushion) is a hallmark of quality upholstery. It doesn't just provide a clean, tailored "classic" look; it serves a functional purpose by reinforcing the seams where the fabric panels meet. This construction helps the cushions maintain their "boxed" shape and prevents the fabric from shifting or bunching over time, ensuring the sofa looks new for longer.
How do I ensure this sofa will fit through my narrow apartment doorway or hallway?
With dimensions of 88"w x 38"d x 37"h, this is a standard full-sized sofa. To ensure a smooth delivery, we recommend measuring the clear width of your door frames and any tight corners in your hallways. Because this model features a 37-inch height and 38-inch depth, professional delivery teams can often navigate it through smaller entries by "walking" it through on its side. Since this item is stationary and does not require customer assembly, verifying these clearances beforehand is essential for a successful setup.
How should I maintain and clean the textured chenille fabric?
Based on our expertise with high-performance polyester, we recommend regular vacuuming with an upholstery attachment to remove dust and prevent debris from settling into the textured weave. For spills, the nap of the chenille should be treated gently—always blot with a clean, dry cloth rather than rubbing, which can damage the fibers. Because the cushions are reversible, we suggest flipping them every few months to maintain the loft and texture of the fabric across all surfaces.
Is this chenille sofa a good choice for a busy family with children and pets?
This sofa is exceptionally well-suited for high-traffic households. The 100% polyester chenille upholstery offers high durability and a natural resistance to the wear and tear associated with pets and kids. A significant advantage is the inclusion of reversible back and seat cushions; flipping these regularly ensures even wear and prevents the localized sagging common in sofas with fixed cushions. Additionally, the double-welted boxed borders reinforce the seams, providing extra structural integrity against active use.
Does this sofa provide enough comfort for long-term lounging?
Designed for "family-style" seating, this sofa prioritizes deep-seated comfort. The 38-inch depth allows for a relaxed posture, while the padded rolled arms offer a soft, cushioned surface for resting. The inclusion of matching accent pillows allows you to customize your lumbar support, making it an ideal choice for everything from formal hosting to an afternoon of lounging.

I like the fabric, but we have only used it a few weeks and see signs of wear. I do not think this will hold up more than a year.
Large Chair
The large chair that matches our new sofa is perfect for the space we have. The love seat was just too big.
