Q&A answers generated with AI assistance.
How do I clean and maintain the microfiber upholstery?
The navy upholstery is a high-performance blend of 96% polyester and 4% nylon, a combination renowned for its exceptional durability and soft hand-feel. Based on our expert care recommendations, microfiber is highly resistant to staining and wear. For routine maintenance, we suggest dusting with a soft cloth; for spills, a light application of mild soap and warm water is typically effective.
What does the "pad-over-chaise" design mean for my comfort?
The "pad-over-chaise" feature means that there is no gap between the seat and the footrest when the chair is reclined. This construction provides a continuous cushion of support for your legs and knees, eliminating pressure points and ensuring a more comfortable, seamless lounging experience compared to traditional recliners with separate footrests.
What are the benefits of a manual reclining mechanism over a power model?
This chair features a manual reclining mechanism, which offers two distinct advantages: simplicity and versatility. Because it does not require an electrical outlet, you have the freedom to place the recliner anywhere in your room without worrying about cord placement or power access. Additionally, the manual lever system is straightforward and historically requires less mechanical maintenance over time than motorized components.
Is a microfiber recliner a good choice for a home with pets or children?
Microfiber is widely considered one of the most pet-friendly and kid-friendly fabrics available. The tight weave of the polyester-nylon blend makes it difficult for claws to snag and prevents pet hair from becoming deeply embedded in the fibers. Its inherent stain-resistant properties also make it resilient against the everyday spills and high-traffic use common in active households.
Is this recliner suitable for a small apartment or a compact living room?
Yes, this recliner is specifically engineered with a clean, compact design, making it an ideal choice for urban apartment living or smaller floor plans. With a streamlined 30-inch width and elegant track arms, it provides the full comfort of a traditional reclining chair without the bulky footprint that often overwhelms limited square footage.
Does this recliner provide specific support for the back and neck?
This model is designed with a double bustle back featuring "two pulls," which are strategic tufting points that create contoured cushions for targeted lumbar and upper-back support. This design, combined with the pad-over-chaise seating, ensures continuous support from your head down to your feet, making it an excellent option for those who prioritize ergonomic comfort during long periods of relaxation.

Thank you for exchanging the original chair. This works much better for my husband because the first chair would come forward too far and he fell out of it twice. However, we left. Florida the week after chair #2 was delivered so we will look forward to using it next winter. The head rest coming forward also is a big help for him.
For mom
Our mother really likes her new recliner. It's comfortable and looks nice in her new space.
It sucks!
It hurt my back after sitting in it, for 2 hours. I went back to the store, they wouldn't take it back. I guess next time I need furniture, I'll go down the street, to Ashley.
very comfortable
