Bait and Switch tactic on this Sofa
We were told by Jason online sales agent at actual Houston Friendswood store, that this sofa came pre-assembled and only the 4 legs needed to be screwed on. When delivered to our Granddaughters apartment, this sofa came in a box and not assembled. We called Jason back and he told us that he thought it came assembled. He asked me to speak to their store manager who informed me that Jason was wrong. I asked him if we could pay for them to send someone from their delivery store area and have them go out and assembled this sofa for our Granddaughter who had just graduated from Rice University in May, and that we would be willing to pay the $100 for their assembly service. He said, unfortunately this sofa is not one that comes assembled as Jason informed us as well as we were informed it was by the Customer service Rep. The manager said, they sell this product and customer needs to assemble themselves and in order for Rooms to Go to compete with Ikea. Bait and Switch tatic.
