Canyon River Saddle 81 in. Console

For a balanced and stable setup, it is recommended that your console be at least 2 to 3 inches wider than your television on each side. With an 81-inch width, this console is an ideal foundation for large-screen televisions, including most 75-inch and 85-inch models. Its substantial height of nearly 35 inches also ensures that your screen is positioned at a comfortable eye level for viewing from a standard sofa.

To maintain a clean, uncluttered aesthetic, this console features three central shelves specifically designed for modern electronics. These shelves include integrated wire management cutouts in the back panel, allowing you to route power cords and HDMI cables directly to your wall outlet. This design not only hides "wire nests" but also facilitates airflow around your devices to help prevent overheating during extended use.

Based on our expertise in furniture care, we recommend dusting the pine surfaces regularly with a soft, lint-free cloth to prevent dust buildup. For cleaning, use a damp cloth with mild soap and water for any spills, and immediately dry the surface. You should avoid the use of harsh chemical cleaners or furniture polishes that contain silicone, as these can damage the integrity of the protective topcoat and dull the rich saddle-brown finish over time.

While the 81-inch width provides an impressive presence, the console features a relatively shallow depth of 18.75 inches. This "wall-hugging" profile makes it an excellent multi-functional solution for smaller or narrower rooms. By consolidating your media storage, decorative display, and cabinet organization into one streamlined piece, you can maximize your floor plan and reduce the need for additional bookshelves or accent chests.

This console is expertly crafted with pine veneers, a construction choice that combines the natural beauty of real wood with enhanced structural stability. Unlike solid wood, which can be prone to warping or splitting when exposed to changes in humidity or temperature, high-quality veneers are engineered to resist these environmental stresses. This makes it a particularly resilient choice for homes in varied climates, ensuring the contemporary silhouette remains crisp and true over time.

This console is designed with both open and closed storage to suit a busy household. While the central shelves offer quick access to media, the two-shelf cabinets and drawers feature bronzed metal hardware and provide a secure place to store smaller items, controllers, or manuals out of sight. The solid, floor-standing base and 81-inch footprint provide excellent stability, making it a reliable anchor for your family's primary gathering space.
