Q&A answers generated with AI assistance.
How do I properly care for and maintain the appearance of this sofa?
To preserve the lush feel of the textured chenille, our care experts recommend vacuuming the sofa weekly using an upholstery attachment to prevent dust from settling into the fibers. Because the cushions are reversible, we suggest rotating them every 1 to 2 months to ensure uniform density. For the pull-out mechanism, a light application of silicone lubricant to the folding joints once a year will ensure a smooth, creak-free operation for the lifetime of the furniture.
Is textured chenille a durable choice for active households with children or pets?
Yes, the upholstery is crafted from 100% Polypropylene, a high-performance synthetic fiber prized for its inherent stain resistance and durability. The "textured" nature of this chenille weave is particularly effective at hiding minor snags or pet hair, while the material's moisture-wicking properties make it easy to spot-clean with mild soap and water. It is an ideal fabric for family-style seating where both comfort and resilience are required.
How comfortable is the mattress on this sleeper?
This sleeper is equipped with an XL Queen size Sealy Royale mattress, offering a significant upgrade over standard pull-out options. Sealy’s engineering ensures that the mattress provides consistent support across the sleeping surface while remaining flexible enough to store easily within the frame. The "XL" designation provides extra length, making it a superior choice for providing a comfortable, restful experience for taller overnight guests.
What are the benefits of reversible cushions on a sofa?
This sofa features reversible seat and back cushions with double-welted boxed borders. Reversibility is a hallmark of high-quality construction; by regularly flipping your cushions, you can ensure even distribution of wear and tear. This practice prevents the foam from developing permanent impressions and helps the 100% Polypropylene textured chenille upholstery maintain its "like-new" appearance for years longer than non-reversible alternatives.
Can this sofa fit through narrow hallways or standard apartment doorways?
With a width of 88 inches and a depth of 38 inches, this sofa is designed for standard residential living rooms. For urban dwellers or those in historic homes with tighter entryways, we recommend removing the reversible cushions and the block legs before delivery to maximize clearance. Utilizing a "diagonal tilt" maneuver during move-in typically allows a piece of this scale to navigate a standard 30-inch-wide doorframe.

Attractive and comfortable
Comfortable and gives me a place for overnight company in my small house without a guest bedroom. Bought along with two chairs and together they are very attractive---I'm well pleased with the purchase.
Great Sleeper Sofa!
The 1st arrived damaged and before I could even call Rooms to Go they called me and arranged a replacement. The crew setting up the sofa was awesome both times and they arrived when they said they would. The Sofa looks great; the bed is somewhat comfortable (guest bed who cares). The only thing we do not like but we knew it going in is the seat depth is not all that great. Seat cushions are a bit stiff, but they will break in. Overall, the Sofa, delivery and quality is exactly what we expected.
