Coralville Rocker Swivel Accent Chair

A swivel rocker offers a multi-functional seating experience that stationary chairs cannot match. The rocking motion provides a soothing, rhythmic movement ideal for relaxation or a nursery setting, while the swivel base allows for effortless interaction during social gatherings. This dual-motion design ensures the chair remains a versatile and frequently used piece in any casual living environment.

While this chair is part of the coordinated Coralville collection, its neutral gray hue and casual silhouette allow it to function beautifully as a standalone accent. Our design experts suggest using it to add visual interest; you can choose to match it with the corresponding sofa for a cohesive look or pair it with contrasting furniture styles—like a leather sofa—to add depth and texture to your living room.

With a 35-inch by 35-inch footprint, this chair is thoughtfully scaled to provide substantial comfort without overwhelming a smaller room. Its 360-degree swivel functionality is particularly beneficial for urban apartments or open-concept spaces, as it allows you to easily pivot between different focal points—such as a television area and a conversation nook—without needing to physically move the furniture.

This chair is well-suited for a variety of environments, including humid or coastal climates. Unlike natural fibers like cotton or linen, which can absorb moisture and be more prone to mildew, 100% polyester fibers are moisture-resistant and dry quickly. The brushed twill finish provides the cozy, warm feel of a natural textile while maintaining the high performance and climate durability of a synthetic material.

Yes, polyester brushed twill is an excellent selection for high-traffic households. The tight weave of this specific fabric is naturally more resistant to snags from pet claws and helps prevent pet hair from becoming deeply embedded in the fibers. Additionally, the synthetic nature of the upholstery provides a level of inherent stain resistance, making it more forgiving against the daily wear and tear associated with active families.

This chair is upholstered in 100% polyester, a synthetic material valued for its resilience and ease of maintenance. For everyday care, we recommend dusting the fabric regularly with a soft cloth. Based on our professional care guidelines, most spills can be spot-cleaned using a soft rag dampened with warm water and a mild detergent. To preserve the soft texture of the brushed twill, always blot spills immediately rather than rubbing them into the fibers.
