Q&A answers generated with AI assistance.
Is this chair a good choice for a small apartment or compact dining area?
This chair is exceptionally well-suited for urban living and smaller floor plans. The armless design and narrow 20.5-inch width allow you to fit more seating around a table and tuck the chairs in completely when not in use. Additionally, the matte black sled base provides a visually "light" and airy silhouette, which helps maintain an open feel in a compact room without sacrificing stability.
How do I know if this chair will fit my dining table?
This chair is designed with a standard seat height of 18.5 inches, making it an ideal match for most 30-inch dining tables. This configuration provides approximately 11 to 12 inches of legroom between the seat and the tabletop, ensuring an ergonomic and comfortable fit for most adults.
Is an upholstered chair comfortable for sitting for long periods?
Yes, this chair is specifically engineered for extended comfort. The transitional design features curved back elements that provide better support than flat-back alternatives, while the fabric upholstery offers a softer seating surface for long dinners or hosting guests. Based on our expertise in dining ergonomics, the 24.5-inch depth also ensures a supportive seat that doesn't feel shallow.
Does this chair require assembly upon delivery?
No, this chair arrives fully assembled. This ensures that the structural integrity of the sled-style metal base is factory-set for maximum stability, saving you time and ensuring the product is ready for immediate use in your dining space.
How do I clean and maintain the fabric on this chair?
To maintain the appearance of the gray fabric, we recommend regular vacuuming with an upholstery attachment to remove dust and debris. For spills, our care guidelines suggest blotting the area immediately with a soft cloth and a mixture of mild soap and warm water. It is important to avoid harsh chemical cleaners to preserve the integrity of the fabric and the finish of the metal base.
Will the metal sled base damage my hardwood floors?
The matte black metal sled base is built for durability and steady support. For homes with hardwood, laminate, or tile flooring, we recommend applying felt pads or protective glides to the bottom of the metal frame. This simple step protects your flooring from potential scratches and allows the chair to slide more quietly during use.

Good for short time sitting
Soft & comfortable at first then starts to feel to hard. Not bad for short sitting (20-30 mins) but not good for much longer then that.
Nice/ Not Nice
The chair itself is comfortable. The sides on the chair flip up as designed. You canโt slide out of the chair comfortably to the side. The flip on the side is quite high. Sitting in the chair feels like a hug. The chair is metal, under the padding is metal. Therefore, the flip on the side is metal. This equals: uncomfortable to get out of the chair. ๐ค Gotta keep the chairs, I have no others.
