Genesis Leather Non-Power Reclining Loveseat

This loveseat features top grain leather on all areas that touch the body, providing the premium feel, breathability, and long-term durability of high-quality hide where it matters most. The sides and back are upholstered in a skillfully matched vinyl. This "leather match" construction offers a sophisticated, uniform look while providing a more accessible price point without compromising the comfort or longevity of the primary seating surfaces.

Because this model uses a non-power manual reclining mechanism, it offers significantly more flexibility for room layout. Without the need for proximity to electrical outlets or the clutter of power cords, you can place this loveseat in the center of a room or in a coastal sunroom without worrying about power access. Manual mechanisms are also prized for their long-term reliability and ease of use, as they do not rely on motors or electronic components.

This loveseat is designed with a high-back silhouette, standing 43.25 inches tall, which is specifically beneficial for taller users who require more vertical support for their head and shoulders. Combined with a standard seat height of 20.5 inches, it facilitates a more natural sitting and standing transition, making it a comfortable and ergonomic choice for a variety of body types.

To preserve the supple feel of the top grain leather, we recommend regular dusting with a soft, dry cloth and avoiding direct, prolonged exposure to intense sunlight, which can cause natural hides to fade or dry out. For the vinyl match areas on the sides and back, a lightly dampened cloth can be used for cleaning. Our experts suggest using only leather-specific conditioners every 6 to 12 months to maintain the leather's natural oils and prevent cracking, ensuring the piece ages beautifully over time.

The versatile blue tone of this top grain leather is chosen for its ability to act as a "new neutral." It complements a wide array of palettes, from cool grays and whites in modern urban lofts to warmer wood tones in transitional suburban homes. The clean lines and tailored upholstery make it an easy anchor piece for a room refresh, bridging the gap between traditional comfort and contemporary style.

Yes, with a width of 67 inches, this loveseat is an excellent choice for smaller-scale living rooms, apartments, or finished basements where a full-sized sofa might be too bulky. Despite its compact footprint, it offers a generous back height of 43.25 inches, providing ample head and neck support that is often missing in smaller furniture pieces. To ensure full relaxation, we recommend allowing approximately 4 to 6 inches of clearance from the wall to accommodate the reclining motion.
