Genesis Leather Dual Power Reclining Sofa

Zero gravity technology allows the sofa to recline into a position that mimics weightlessness. By elevating your knees above your heart, this position helps distribute body weight evenly, reducing pressure on the spine and improving circulation. This makes it an ideal choice for those looking for a more restorative way to relax after a long day or for individuals with lower back concerns.

Yes. This sofa is designed with integrated wall-saver technology. This specific engineering allows the seats to move forward as they recline, meaning the sofa requires significantly less clearance from the wall than traditional recliners. It is an excellent solution for urban apartments or smaller living rooms where maximizing floor space is essential.

To preserve the natural beauty of the top grain leather, we recommend regular dusting with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid placing the sofa in direct sunlight or near heat sources, as this can cause the leather to dry out or fade over time. For spills, blot immediately with a clean, damp cloth. Based on our material expertise, we suggest using only leather-specific cleaners and conditioners every 6–12 months to keep the hide supple.

This sofa features top grain leather where the body touches, which is the highest quality part of the hide. Top grain leather is preferred for its exceptional durability, soft feel, and natural breathability, allowing it to stay cool in the summer and warm in the winter. The sides and back are upholstered in a color-matched vinyl, providing a high-end look and feel while maintaining an approachable price point.

No, this model does not require customer assembly. Our delivery and set-up process ensures that the dual power reclining mechanisms—including the independent headrest and footrest controls—are fully functional and ready for use as soon as the sofa is placed in your home. This allows you to enjoy the head-to-toe comfort of the Drew & Jonathan Genesis collection immediately.

To keep your devices powered without leaving your seat, this sofa includes both USB-A and USB-C charging ports conveniently located near the power controls. Additionally, the arms feature hidden, removable stainless steel cupholders. These provide a secure place for refreshments during a movie or game but can be tucked away to maintain the sofa’s clean, transitional aesthetic when not in use.
