Hagen Teak 5 Pc Round Outdoor Chat Seating Set

While this table is part of the Hagen collection and pairs perfectly with the Hagen Teak Outdoor Chat Chair, its sleek lines and natural tan finish make it highly versatile. The organic warmth of the teak can easily ground a more contemporary minimalist setup or add a sophisticated, modern balance to a rustic, greenery-filled patio. We recommend anchoring the set with a round outdoor rug to define the seating area.

With a 45.5-inch diameter, this round table offers a generous surface area that comfortably accommodates 4 people for drinks and light snacks. The round, leg-tapered design maximizes legroom and promotes an intimate "social circle" layout, which is perfect for smaller patios or defined conversation zones on a larger deck.

This table is expertly crafted from premium natural teak, a material highly prized for its exceptional durability in challenging environments. Teak naturally contains high levels of protective oils and high wood density, making it inherently resistant to moisture, rot, and warping. This makes it an ideal choice for humid regions or coastal homes where salt air and frequent rain are common.

The primary difference is the height and intended use. While standard dining tables are usually 28 to 30 inches tall for formal meals, this chat table stands at approximately 18 inches. Inspired by mid-century Danish design, it is built with a lower center of gravity to encourage relaxed, lounge-style conversations. It is designed to be paired with deep-seated club chairs or "chat chairs" rather than standard dining chairs.

Over time, natural teak will develop a beautiful silvery-gray patina if left untreated, which many homeowners find desirable. However, to maintain the original tan finish, our experts recommend using wood-specific cleaners and sealers designed for teak. For added protection during the off-season or extreme weather, we suggest using a fitted patio furniture cover to keep the plank-style top looking its best.

Yes. The planked top design is both a stylistic mid-century modern choice and a functional one. The small gaps between the planks allow rainwater to drain through rather than pooling on the surface. This feature helps the wood dry faster after a storm and assists in preventing long-term water damage or mildew growth.
