Yes, this bed is designed to be used with a mattress and a foundation or box spring, which are sold separately. Utilizing a proper foundation is essential as it provides a sturdy, flat base that prevents your mattress from warping or sagging over time. Following our expert recommendations for mattress support also ensures you remain in compliance with most mattress warranty requirements.

To keep the light gray fabric looking pristine, we recommend regular maintenance. Based on our furniture care expertise, you should vacuum the upholstery periodically using a soft brush attachment to remove dust and allergens. For minor spills or marks, spot clean immediately using a soft cloth dampened with mild soap and water. Always avoid harsh chemicals to preserve the integrity and color of the fabric.

This bed is equipped with integrated USB ports located directly in the headboard. This thoughtful feature allows you to charge your smartphone, tablet, or e-reader overnight without needing to reach for floor outlets or cluttering your nightstand with long cables. It provides a seamless blend of traditional style and modern convenience for a clutter-free bedside environment.

The wingback headboard on this bed offers both architectural interest and enhanced comfort. Historically a hallmark of traditional design, the "wings" create a sense of enclosure and privacy, making the bed feel like a cozy retreat. Practically, the plush padding and button-tufted details provide a comfortable, supportive surface for sitting up to read or watch TV.

This bed is an excellent choice for coastal-inspired or traditional decors due to its airy light gray palette and refined curves. While its 66.25-inch width fits standard queen configurations, the wingback design adds a sense of scale and presence. For homeowners in coastal or humid climates, we recommend ensuring proper airflow in the room to keep the upholstery fresh, a best practice for all fabric-covered furniture in high-moisture areas.
