Too tight to recline
Too tight to recline. Support tech removed both tension springs but it was still too tight. Rooms To Go customer service allowed us to exchange for a different recliner without any hassle.

Difficult to open recliner
This is a sturdy recliner. A good price for the quality...However, be aware. First, strength is needed to push back the back rest to open the foot rest. Not very easy to do. Second, both my daughter and I caught our fingers underneath the foot rest, trying to open it. My daughter's finger hurt, however when it happened to me, I seriously thought I had cut my finger off. Not exaggerating! The pinch was so very strong, it left a bruise on my fingernail. When this happened, I felt my finger was going to explode from the extreme pain. I immediately told everyone in my home, to NEVER open the recliner from the rest! Originally, it was going to sit in our living room, but is now in a bedroom. I do not want it to bring harm to any our guests. I can sincerely say this is a hazardous piece of furniture. My husband likes it, so we're keeping it, but I'm not happy with this purchase.😑
