Kids Modern Colors Slate Blue Twin Loft with Loft Chest and Bookcase

This bed does not require a traditional box spring. To ensure proper support and maintain a safe profile within the guardrails, a bunkie board is required (sold separately). This provides a slim, sturdy foundation for the mattress, ensuring the sleeping surface remains at the correct height for the safety rails to be effective.

A "low loft" design is often a preferred choice for younger children transitioning to elevated sleeping. With a total height of approximately 51 inches, this bed sits significantly lower than traditional models, making it less intimidating for children and easier for parents to reach. For added security, the included ladder is affixed directly to the frame and features three wide steps designed for stable climbing.

The coordinating chest is built with high-quality cabinetry techniques to withstand daily use. The drawer fronts are crafted with French dovetail joints, a hallmark of furniture durability known for its high resistance to being pulled apart. Additionally, the drawers utilize side-mounted, ball-bearing glides, which ensure a smooth, quiet, and reliable operation over the life of the piece.

This furniture set is an all-in-one solution for space optimization, combining sleep, storage, and display within a single 81" x 48" footprint. By utilizing the vertical space beneath the bed for a three-drawer chest and a 37-inch bookcase, you eliminate the need for separate bulky pieces, which is ideal for smaller bedrooms or city apartments where floor space is limited.

This model is specifically advantageous for rooms with height constraints, such as attic bedrooms or homes with standard 8-foot ceilings. Because the top of the bed sits at just under 51 inches, it provides significantly more "headroom" between the mattress and the ceiling than a standard high loft, allowing children to sit up comfortably and safely without being too close to the ceiling or light fixtures.

Yes. This set provides versatility to match your child's evolving style. While it arrives with sleek brushed nickel hardware, we also include an additional set of brushed gold knobs and pulls with your purchase. This allows you to easily update the aesthetic of the loft bed to coordinate with other metallic accents or decor themes in the room.
