Kids Schoolhouse White Chair

For your convenience, this chair is delivered without the need for customer assembly. This ensures that the structural integrity of the piece is maintained to factory standards from the moment it enters your home, allowing your child to start using their new creative space immediately.

Safety is built into the classic schoolhouse design, which prioritizes a balanced and low center of gravity to minimize the risk of tipping. The chair's dimensions and solid construction provide a stable base, ensuring it remains secure even when children are climbing in and out during daily activities.

This chair is an excellent choice for space-conscious environments. With a footprint of approximately 15.25"w x 16"d, it offers a sturdy seating solution without overwhelming a small playroom or bedroom. Its vertical profile and classic slatted back also help maintain an airy, open feel in tighter living spaces.

Finding the right ergonomic fit is essential for a child's comfort and posture. This chair features a 14-inch seat height, which typically accommodates children between the ages of 5 and 8. To follow the "90-90-90" rule—where the child’s feet are flat on the floor and their knees and hips are at 90-degree angles—ensure the distance from your child's knee to their heel is approximately 14 inches.

While this chair is specifically designed to coordinate with the Schoolhouse Creativity Table, its classic white finish and timeless silhouette allow it to function perfectly as a standalone piece. It can be used as a reading chair in a nursery, a side chair in a playroom, or paired with any standard-height kids' activity table.

Yes, the smooth white finish is designed with active kids in mind. The non-porous surface allows you to easily wipe away common messes like crayon marks, glue, or food spills with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap. For best results and to preserve the finish, we recommend avoiding harsh abrasive cleaners that could dull the classic schoolhouse aesthetic.
