Q&A answers generated with AI assistance.
Can this bed fit through narrow hallways or up tight staircases in older homes?
Logistics are a common concern with larger furniture, but this bed is designed as a 3-piece set consisting of a separate headboard, footboard, and rails. This modularity makes it significantly easier to navigate through tight corners, narrow hallways, or apartment elevators during delivery and assembly compared to one-piece frames. Our delivery experts recommend measuring your entryways and any staircase turns to ensure the 64-inch width of the headboard can clear the path.
Is a box spring or foundation required for this bed?
Yes, this bed is designed as a panel-style system that requires the use of both a mattress and a foundation (box spring). Using a high-quality foundation is essential for this type of frame as it provides the necessary structural support to prevent mattress sagging and ensures the validity of your mattress warranty.
How much floor space does a queen sleigh bed typically require?
Due to the elegant, outward curve of the sleigh-style headboard and footboard, this bed has a larger footprint than a standard frame. This specific model measures 95 inches in length and 64 inches in width. To ensure a comfortable flow in your bedroom, we recommend a room size of at least 10 x 12 feet, which allows for approximately 24 to 30 inches of walking space around the perimeter of the bed.
What kind of maintenance is required to protect the wood finish?
To preserve the craftsmanship of your furniture, our care guidelines recommend avoiding harsh chemical cleaners which can strip the protective topcoat of the veneer. Instead, use a soft, dry lint-free cloth for daily dusting. If you live in a particularly dry climate, keeping the room at a consistent humidity level can also help maintain the integrity of the wood components over many years of use.
Is a traditional sleigh bed style still a good choice for a modern home?
While the sleigh bed is a timeless classic, the recessed panels and clean lines of this specific design give it a "casual-classic" versatility. It serves as an excellent focal point in a variety of settings. For a more contemporary look, our stylists suggest pairing the rich cherry wood with neutral bedding—such as grays, creams, or soft whites—to balance the warmth of the wood and keep the room feeling airy and updated.
What are the benefits of a birch veneer construction with a cherry finish?
This bed is constructed using birch veneers, which are prized in furniture making for their strength and resistance to warping or cracking over time. The cherry finish provides a rich, "dark wood" aesthetic that bridges the gap between classic and casual decor. Based on our material expertise, we recommend regular dusting with a soft cloth and the occasional use of mild soap and water for spots to maintain the luster of the finish and protect the wood from surface scratches.

Diffucult followup no response from company...
Received a followup call immediately after bed installed and I was initially very satisified and excited with the service call and delivery...had not made the bed or paid much attention to excess material left by installers, in all the excitement I also didn't notice extra parts left in drawers or that the bed was flushed up against the wall to the point of chipping the paint...Contacted RTG via app email because delivery person put bed snug against wall, paint chipping off the wall behind headboard and no one has yet to contact me for assistance...also there were parts to the bed that were left inside the drawers and not installed or explained by installer/service members...service was actually fine before I notice paint chipping behind the headboard...until the bed was made and it's far tooo heavy for me to move it...I can't even slide it off the wall...so the rating will stay the same until they send someone to comes and make necessary adjustments...I even tipped both guy...
