Q&A answers generated with AI assistance.
What is the difference between a right-arm facing and left-arm facing chaise configuration?
Orientation is determined by looking at the sectional from the front. A "Right-arm facing" (RAF) chaise, like this one, means the chaise is on your right side as you stand facing the sofa. Choosing the correct orientation is vital for your room’s traffic pattern; typically, you want the chaise on the side that does not block entryways or natural paths through the home.
How should I clean and maintain the 100% polyester upholstery?
Based on our furniture care expertise, 100% polyester is an excellent choice for durability and ease of maintenance. For general cleaning, we recommend using a soft cloth with warm water and a mild detergent or soap to spot-clean any spills. Additionally, the rounded seat cushions are removable, making it simpler to vacuum debris from the frame and rotate the cushions to ensure even wear over time.
How do I know if this 118-inch sectional will fit comfortably in my living room?
To ensure a proper fit, we recommend measuring your space and following the "2/3 rule," where the sofa occupies approximately two-thirds of the wall it sits against. With a width of 118 inches and a depth of 69 inches, this piece is designed for spacious comfort while maintaining a "condo" scale suitable for many modern layouts. Our guidelines suggest leaving at least 18 to 24 inches of clearance around the sectional for walkways to maintain a balanced and functional room flow.
What makes this fabric suitable for an active household with guests?
This sectional features an ultra-soft, irresistibly textured fabric that provides a high level of comfort for both social "cocktail hour" gatherings and overnight sleepovers. Polyester is a synthetic fiber known for its resilience and resistance to stretching or shrinking, ensuring the sectional maintains its stunning, tailored look even with frequent family use.
Is this sectional sofa a good choice for a condo or an urban apartment?
Yes, this sectional is specifically themed for condo living. Its two-piece construction makes it significantly easier to navigate through the tighter hallways, elevators, and doorways often found in urban dwellings compared to larger, multi-piece configurations. The low-profile padded wedge arms also provide a stylish flare without adding unnecessary bulk to the overall footprint.
What are the benefits of a "scatterback" cushion design?
A scatterback design uses several loose, unattached pillows to form the back of the sofa instead of a few fixed, upholstered cushions. This feature offers a more casual, inviting aesthetic and allows for a highly customizable comfort experience, as you can rearrange or remove the pillows to suit your preferred sitting or lounging position.

Very comfy
Comfortable. We do need to keep changing cushions around to avoid getting 'dips' in them tho
Broke Right After Manufacturing Warranty Expired
I’m extremely disappointed with this couch. When I first got it, I loved how comfortable it was — I could easily fall asleep on it. But comfort means nothing when the quality doesn’t hold up. If you’re over 150 pounds, I wouldn’t recommend this couch at all. It sits very low, and the cushions are overly soft with no firmness or real support. It’s far too easy to sink into it awkwardly — which is exactly what happened to me — and as a result, the support beam broke. To make matters worse, this happened just after the 1-year manufacturer warranty expired (how convenient). And the 3-year extended warranty they pressured me into buying? Totally useless — it doesn’t cover this kind of damage. Be sure to read that warranty carefully; it’s full of contradictions and fine print. What really hurts is that I’ve been a loyal Rooms To Go customer for nearly a decade, furnishing my home through them. Now I’m still stuck paying off a broken couch. This experience has been incredibly frustrating an
