Nanton Park Gray 3 Pc Queen Upholstered Bed

Yes. To provide optimal support and maintain the longevity of your mattress, this bed requires a foundation or box spring (sold separately). Utilizing a proper foundation ensures a flat, sturdy surface that prevents mattress sagging and helps uphold most mattress warranty requirements.

This bed is constructed with high-quality velvet and a sturdy frame designed for durability across various climates. In high-humidity regions, we recommend ensuring the bed is placed with a small gap for airflow between the headboard and the wall. Regular vacuuming is also essential in these environments to keep the fabric fresh and prevent dust or moisture from settling into the plush nap.

To keep the plush gray velvet looking its best, we recommend regular vacuuming with a soft brush attachment to remove dust and prevent the nap from crushing. For accidental spills, our experts suggest spot cleaning immediately by blotting with a clean cloth using mild soap and water. Avoid harsh chemicals or heavy scrubbing, which can damage the velvet's soft, luxurious texture.

Velvet is often a preferred material for pet owners because it lacks the loose loops found in traditional woven fabrics, making it much more resistant to snagging from cat or dog claws. Additionally, the tight nap of the velvet allows pet hair to rest on the surface rather than becoming embedded in the fibers, allowing for quick cleanup with a lint roller or vacuum.

The vertical channel tufting creates clean, contemporary lines that draw the eye upward, which can make a bedroom with standard ceilings feel taller. This is paired with a wingback silhouette that provides an architectural "cradle" for the sleeper. Beyond the visual appeal, the padded upholstery offers a supportive and comfortable backrest for sitting up in bed to read or watch television.
