Is this recliner suitable for a small apartment or a compact media room?
This recliner is an ideal solution for urban apartment living or smaller rooms where space is at a premium. It offers the luxury and features of high-end motion furniture without the large footprint of a full-sized sectional. Its scale allows it to serve as a high-comfort focal point in a room while maintaining an open, uncluttered floor plan.
What are the primary benefits of a dual power recliner?
A dual power recliner provides a significantly more ergonomic experience than standard models by offering independent control of the footrest and the headrest. This allows you to adjust your seating position with precision, ensuring your head and neck are properly supported for activities like watching television or reading, even while you are in a fully reclined position.
How should I care for the blue fabric upholstery to keep it looking new?
To maintain the richness of the blue fabric, we recommend regular light vacuuming with an upholstery attachment to prevent dust from settling into the fibers. Based on our material expertise, we suggest blotting spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth. For maintenance, use only water-based cleaning agents, as harsh chemicals can damage the fabric's finish and color.
Is there a protection plan available for the motors and mechanical parts?
We offer an optional Fortegra protection plan for this recliner, which is highly recommended for power furniture. This plan provides professional assistance and coverage for mechanical failures of the dual motors, as well as protection against common household accidents like stains or punctures, ensuring your investment remains in top condition.
How can I ensure this recliner will provide the right support for my back?
This recliner is designed with comfort and spinal alignment in mind. The dual power functionality is key here; by independently adjusting the headrest, you can customize the support for your cervical spine, which helps reduce neck strain. When combined with the integrated lumbar support found in the seat design, it provides a tailored seating experience that accommodates various body types and comfort preferences.
Does this recliner need to be placed near an electrical outlet?
Since this is a dual power item, it does require a power source to operate the motorized headrest and footrest. For the most streamlined look in your living room, we recommend placing it near a wall outlet. If you prefer to place the recliner in the center of the room, you may consider a compatible cordless battery pack to power the motors without having cords visible on the floor.
Is an electric power recliner a durable choice for a busy living room?
Yes, power recliners are often more durable over the long term than manual versions. Because the reclining movement is driven by controlled electric motors, the internal frame and mechanism are protected from the forceful "slamming" and high-tension spring stress common with manual levers. This smooth, motorized operation helps preserve the structural integrity of the recliner for years of consistent use.

I’ve had my recliner chair for at least three years now and I’ve only had to have it repaired once on the foot rest no longer will go up and I have a couple of other problems to report, but I’m sure that they will honor my coverage and take care of the two problems. I’m having in a timely fashion as they did when the switch and Motor went out so I’ve been very happy and that’s why I decided to get the matching couch recliner and Chase Of which I’m becoming not happy with that purchase and I don’t understand what’s going on. I’ve always liked things from Rooms To Go and have friends that have made purchases that they were happy with as well. So I’m surprised to be having such an issue with my recent purchase. They only pray and hope that sounds slow get worked out.
