Dining Chairs to Go
I have a 60" round dining table that was sold with 8 large bulky red vinyl upholstered chairs that was almost too large for my "smallish" dining room. Fortunately, for me, after 6 years, the vinyl began cracking and pealing, and I REALLY needed new chairs that would complement the table. The first place I looked was Rooms to Go - and wouldn't you know, they had the very type of chair I was looking for! It was also the only set of chairs in the store that I thought would work with the table and in the space, although the Orland Park table/chairs displayed were the high top variety. Taking a closer look at the information about this product, I discovered that dining side chairs were also available. The waiting time for the delivery of the chairs was very reasonable. The delivery personnel were very friendly and professional. The only glitch was that one chair had a patch of paint a little larger than a postage stamp missing on the backside of the top bar on the chair when delivered. All the employees at the local Rooms to Go were supportive of my request to have the chair replaced - except for an assistant manager who was first called for approval. According to her, the missing paint chip was my fault for removing an attached tag and the adhesive residue on the top bar of all 8 chairs. For some reason, everything was my fault, even if the tags had been removed BEFORE the chairs were delivered into my home. Fortunately, the local store understood the chair was delivered in that condition and sought approval to replace the chair from another assistant manager. A day after I had gone to the store to request replacement, I received a call saying the chair would be replaced and when the new one would be delivered. Now, the dining room table looks smaller, and the chairs are not only more comfortable, but also look like they belong with the table. Sometime after the chairs had been delivered and placed around my table, I realized that the chairs were similar to the bar stools I had bought at Rooms to Go 6 years ago. Nice surprise!
