What are the benefits of the oak veneers used in this furniture?
This table features high-quality oak veneers finished in a warm walnut brown. Oak is highly regarded in furniture construction for its exceptional strength and prominent grain patterns. By using veneers, the piece achieves the beautiful aesthetic and structural durability of oak while being more resistant to the warping or cracking that can occasionally occur with solid wood due to changes in home humidity.
How do you recommend cleaning and maintaining the finish on a wood table?
Based on our furniture care standards, we recommend dusting the surface regularly with a soft, dry cloth to prevent debris buildup. For minor spills or stains, use a cloth slightly dampened with mild soap and water, ensuring you dry the surface immediately afterward. To preserve the contemporary walnut finish, avoid harsh chemical cleaners or abrasive polishes, which can dull the protective topcoat over time.
How tall should a sofa table be in relation to the back of a couch?
For a balanced and functional setup, a sofa table should ideally be level with the back of your couch or sit about an inch below it. At 30 inches high, this table is designed to align seamlessly with most standard contemporary sofas. This height ensures that decorative items or lamps are easily accessible while maintaining a clean, cohesive silhouette in your living room.
Is this table a good choice for a narrow entryway or a small apartment hallway?
Yes, this piece is an excellent solution for tighter spaces. With a slim 16-inch depth, it provides a functional surface for keys, mail, or decor without obstructing foot traffic. Our design expertise suggests that shallow furniture between 12 and 18 inches is ideal for "drop zones" in urban apartments or homes without a formal foyer, as it maximizes utility without overcrowding the area.
What is the difference between a sofa table and a console table?
While these terms are often used interchangeably, the distinction typically lies in placement. A sofa table is specifically scaled to sit behind a couch to provide a surface for lighting and decor. A console table is a versatile accent piece often placed against a wall in an entryway or dining room. Because of its 48-inch length and 30-inch height, this piece is perfectly proportioned to serve in either role, offering flexibility as your layout needs evolve.
Can this table be used for storage in an open-concept living room?
Absolutely. This contemporary rectangular table includes a full-length lower shelf specifically designed for storage or display. In open-concept floor plans, a table like this serves as an effective visual anchor to define the boundary between a seating area and a dining space. The lower shelf is perfect for organizing baskets to hide clutter or showcasing art books and decorative accents to add personality to your home.

Sofa Table
This was a purchase to match the coffee table and end table however, the quality is not the same as there is a gap on the right and left-hand hand side of the drawers where you can see daylight. Would’ve been nice to be able to submit a photo for the review. But that option was not available.
The sofa table adds depth to a to long empty wall. At present time I have a old wash basin and two candles on it.
I received the item 3 weeks ago and the draws were not aligned correctly. A technician came out and said we would need a replacement. I followed up with customer service and they said I should receive a new unit in 7 days. Still waiting for the new unit.
Beautiful Wood top Pattern
It has a unique beauty in the arrangement of the pattern and design of the wood in the tabletop. The legs of the table adds another layer of a beautiful flair to the elegance of a distinct look like no other.
