Salinas Premium Sleeper Gel Sofa

This sofa features a high-performance Nature’s Bed gel foam mattress in an XL Queen size. Unlike traditional innerspring mattresses that can have pressure points from the coils and mechanism, the gel foam core contours to the body for superior support. The infusion of gel helps dissipate heat more effectively than standard memory foam, ensuring your guests stay cool and comfortable throughout the night.

The upholstery is crafted from 100% polyester chenille, which is an ideal choice for high-traffic households. Polyester is inherently more resistant to staining and stretching than natural fibers. The chenille weave provides a soft, tactile texture that hides minor wear well, while the tight construction helps prevent snags from pet claws, offering both a sophisticated look and long-term durability.

This sofa has a depth of 40 inches when closed. When the XL Queen sleeper is fully extended, you should plan for approximately 90 to 95 inches of total depth from the back of the sofa to the foot of the bed. To ensure a comfortable flow in your living area or guest suite, we recommend leaving at least 18 to 24 inches of clearance around the perimeter of the bed for easy movement.

To maintain the rich color and soft texture of the pine green fabric, we recommend regular vacuuming with an upholstery attachment to remove dust and prevent pilling. For spills, polyester chenille is best treated by blotting immediately with a clean, dry cloth. Based on standard fabric care for this material, avoid using harsh chemicals; instead, use a water-based cleaning agent or professional service for deep cleaning to preserve the integrity of the fibers.

With a width of 94 inches, this sofa is a "generously proportioned" piece that provides a substantial presence in a room. While it offers the luxury of an XL Queen bed, its scale is best suited for medium to large living areas. For apartment dwellers, we recommend measuring hallways and door frames carefully; the removable dark-finished block legs can provide extra clearance during the delivery and setup process in tighter urban spaces.

Absolutely. While many sleepers prioritize the bed over the seating, this piece is designed with a "comfort-first" silhouette. It features generously proportioned seat and back cushions and wide track arms with a gentle flare for a relaxed, easygoing profile. The addition of three matching kidney pillows provides tailored lumbar support that is often missing in standard sofas, making it an excellent choice for daily lounging and entertaining.
