Salinas Apartment Sofa

An apartment sofa, like this one from the Salinas collection, is specifically engineered to offer the comfort of a full-sized couch while maintaining a more space-conscious footprint. While its 89-inch width provides a generous seating area, its "apartment" designation often refers to a silhouette designed to feel less bulky in urban floor plans. This allows you to maximize seating in a smaller living room or studio without sacrificing the deep, 42-inch lounging depth that creates a truly "restorative" home environment.

To maintain the rich texture of the chenille, we recommend regular vacuuming with a soft brush attachment to remove dust and prevent matting of the fibers. For spills, polyester's resilient nature allows for effective spot-cleaning; however, always blot—never rub—the area with a clean, damp cloth. Based on our material expertise, avoiding harsh chemicals will help preserve the integrity of the fabric’s "earthy character" and soft feel for years to come.

This sofa is upholstered in 100% polyester chenille, a material prized for its exceptional durability and soft, tactile "hand." Polyester is a synthetic fiber known for its inherent resistance to stretching, shrinking, and wrinkling. Because chenille features a unique lofted texture, it offers a plush feel while being sturdy enough to withstand the daily use of a busy family room or casual den.

Yes, the choice of 100% polyester fabric is highly advantageous for families. Polyester is non-absorbent by nature, making it more resistant to stains and easier to spot-clean than many natural fibers. Additionally, the tight weave of this chenille helps prevent the snagging often caused by pet claws, ensuring the "putty" beige finish remains clean and sophisticated over time.

The two included kidney pillows are designed to provide targeted lumbar support, which is essential for long-term comfort in deep-seated furniture. By filling the gap between the lower back and the back cushion, these pillows help maintain the natural curve of the spine, making this sofa an excellent choice for those who prioritize ergonomic support during movie nights or reading sessions.

Measuring 89"w x 42"d x 37"h, this sofa is designed with apartment living in mind. One strategic feature is its dark-finished block legs, which ground the design while providing a clean, tailored touch. Before delivery, we recommend measuring your entryways, including hallway turns and elevator doors, to ensure a smooth transition. Because no customer assembly is required, the piece arrives with its structural integrity fully intact from the manufacturer.
