Seaport 9' Octagon Heather Beige Outdoor Umbrella

This 9-foot market umbrella is designed to provide optimal shade for patio dining tables up to 54 inches in diameter. As a general rule for comfort, a canopy should extend at least 2 feet beyond the edges of the table, making this model an ideal choice for standard 4-person outdoor dining sets.

This umbrella is specifically engineered for challenging outdoor environments. The combination of a rust-proof aluminum frame and Sunbrella® fabric—which is naturally resistant to mold, mildew, and UV degradation—makes it an excellent investment for high-humidity areas. Its 9-foot octagonal shape provides consistent coverage that remains stable and functional even in the peak of summer.

The canopy is crafted from 100% Sunbrella® fabric, which is widely considered the industry standard for outdoor durability. Because Sunbrella is a solution-dyed acrylic—meaning the color is saturated to the core of every fiber—it is exceptionally resistant to fading, even in intense sunlight. Additionally, this fabric provides 98% UV protection, helping to shield you and your guests from harmful rays while maintaining its heather beige color season after season.

Based on our expertise with high-performance outdoor fabrics, we recommend regularly brushing off loose dirt and cleaning the canopy with a solution of mild soap and lukewarm water. Use a soft bristle brush or sponge to gently work the solution into the fabric, rinse thoroughly until all soap residue is removed, and always allow the material to air dry completely. To preserve the integrity of the Sunbrella fibers, do not dry clean the canopy.

Adjusting your shade is effortless with the built-in auto-tilt feature. By simply continuing to rotate the crank handle once the umbrella is fully opened, the internal mechanism powers the canopy into a full-tilt position. This allow you to easily track the sun's movement throughout the day without having to lift or reposition the entire umbrella.

Yes. This umbrella features a sturdy aluminum pole with a powder-coated bronze finish. Aluminum is naturally resistant to rust and corrosion, which is essential for furniture used in humid climates or coastal areas where salt air can be particularly damaging to steel or wood frames. The high-strength 100% Kevlar lift cord further enhances the umbrella’s durability by providing a fray-resistant mechanism for opening and closing.
