Faulty foundation - beware!
We've spent the last year with a squeaky bed due to Tempurpedics's poorly constructed foundations. The horizontal slats strip away from the flimsy screws and pressboardin no time. We've flipped the foundation, re-screwed, only to find the same problem in weeks. Hard to imagine this design flaw has remained unchanged. Suggests an indifference to customers.

2 inch foundation is over priced!!
I bought the 2 inch foundation for a new king size mattress (so it is two long twin foundations) and was shocked at how cheaply they are made! The foundations feel like they are made of corrugated cardboard with a fabric covering. If you stepped on the foundation I am certain your foot would push right through whatever it is made out of. Also, the stapling of the fabric to the foundation was done very sloppily. I really didn't have any other option so I kept them and hope they don't get crushed or crumble over time due to the weight of a very heavy rhapsody lux king size mattress (which I am very happy with). Tempur-pedic should be embarrassed by this product. I always equated this company with quality and these shoddily made 2 inch foundations don't even come close to quality. I would recommend you save your money and buy plywood and cover it with fabric - it would be sturdier! About 10 years ago I bought a 5 (or 6) inch foundation from the company and it was of much, much, much better quality.

Absolutely in love!!!

I always had a hard time during sleep, tossing and turning! Since I invested in my tempurpedic bed I have had the best night sleep! It's like sleeping on a cloud! So soft and comfortable!! I would say the only con is that sometimes I feel hot during the night. I think that something I'm going to bring up with Customer Service. Overall super satisfied! Claudia
