Great chairs! Great quality!! Looks fabulous !!
Arms got moldy after sealing with rooms to Go sealer
Mold formed instantly on the arms of the chair. This is after we used the rooms to Go sealer kit. When I called customer service, they said that they do not cover mold. I'm like what? This got moldy. It means the wood was not properly dried. I have owned very nice teak furniture in the past and it never got moldy. The quality of the teak they use must be bottom of the barrel. And they keep on priding themselves on the quality of the teak in their furniture. I don't believe it's true.
Beautifully designed, sustainable, sleek, lightweight, modern. Cushions however should not be gathered each time chairs are sat on. I can sit for 5 mins and they are gathered. I am not a large male and weigh in 150 pound range. Not sure if Solana did much testing but I would venture to say they did. I believe and this is not my first rodeo, that a Florida humidity plays a roll. Even today with low humidity, the fabric is gathered with an indentation of my rearend. This tells me one of a couple of things, the foam inside is not of highest quality or if it is, then the most dense foam that could be used, was not used here. I had cushions made for previous dining set at an upholsterer and used the foam one tire below the most dense and still the cushions would sink a bit on humid days. My furniture is located on the top floor (6th) of a condo near the beach and is protected by a ceiling and three enclosed walls. My neighbor suggested springed cushions
