Q&A answers generated with AI assistance.
How does an aluminum frame hold up in humid or coastal climates?
This chair is constructed with a rust-resistant, sturdy aluminum frame, making it an ideal choice for humid or coastal environments where salt air and moisture are common. Aluminum naturally resists corrosion, and the powder-coated finish provides an additional layer of protection against the elements, ensuring the frame remains durable and maintains its crisp white appearance season after season.
What is the best way to clean and maintain this outdoor chair?
Based on our furniture care expertise, we recommend regular, simple maintenance to keep your seating looking new. The powder-coated aluminum and padded vinyl seat can be easily spot-cleaned using mild soap and water with a soft cloth. For the teak wood accents on the arms, our guides suggest occasional cleaning to prevent buildup. To maintain the original warm tone of the teak, you may choose to apply a teak protector; otherwise, the wood will naturally weather to a graceful silvery-gray over time.
Is this chair suitable for a smaller patio or apartment balcony?
Yes, this chair is exceptionally well-suited for smaller spaces. Its streamlined 24.5" width and lightweight aluminum construction allow for easy mobility in tight layouts. Furthermore, the frame is designed to be stackable, making it simple to store or clear floor space when the chairs are not in use—a critical feature for maximizing utility in limited square footage.
What are the benefits of the teak wood accents on the arms?
The teak wood accents provide both aesthetic warmth and practical durability. Teak is a premium hardwood renowned for its exceptional natural resistance to moisture and decay due to its high natural oil content. By incorporating teak onto the track arms, this chair offers a touch of organic texture that stays cooler to the touch in direct sunlight compared to bare metal, enhancing your comfort during hot summer afternoons.
Are these chairs heavy enough for windy environments?
These chairs feature a lightweight aluminum frame specifically designed for ease of mobility and stackability. While aluminum is incredibly sturdy and rustproof, it is inherently lighter than materials like wrought iron. For very high-wind environments, such as high-rise balconies or exposed coastal decks, we recommend tucking the chairs securely under a heavy dining table when not in use or using furniture covers with tie-downs to ensure they remain in place during storms.
Does this chair require separate cushions for comfort?
No separate cushions are necessary. This chair is engineered for streamlined comfort with a built-in padded vinyl seat featuring Dacron padding. This integrated design provides a soft, supportive seating experience while maintaining a clean, modern aesthetic. Because the padding is built-in and covered in vinyl, it is also easier to maintain and clean than traditional loose fabric cushions.

Nice because it is aluminum, but paint was already chipped in places. Definitely overpriced.
CHEAP JUNK
Spent 18K with Rooms To Go to furnish my pool and within 2 weeks, the furniture arms started fading and mildewing. I would NOT recommend RTG.

Disappointed
We were very happy at first with the sales team that cordially help us pick up items for the house. They made us aware that we could not return but they would honor an exchange if the product didn’t work for whatever the reason be. We made one exchange and we realized it was too small for the space we asked to upgrade an purchase a much larger furniture and we’re not allowed to switch out the furniture for this option. So we are stuck with furniture we do not like. Corporate made us feel like we made a mistake of which we had no way out and that we where at fault and there was no recourse.
