Casual elegance
We actually had considered the Lynwood 5 piece set, but my wife didn't feel it had enough "style" for a Living room. So we looked around the showroom and she noticed the Spellman. At first I thought it looked dated, but as I compared it to what we were considering, I saw it was definitely more stylish. Once we got it home, it was a hit! Everyone comments on how comfortable, yet elegant it looks and feels. I have to agree, there is a softness to the cushions when you sit down, but yet a very solid firm feel. The fabric is plush, and soft, but has a durable texture to it. They also don't look "crushed" after being sat on. It's a great ensemble, and I couldn't be happier with it!
Only frustrations
While the chair itself is comfortable and looks good, we have had a lot of frustrations with the quality and customer service. It arrived broken with a large crack near where one of the legs screws in. We immediately let Rooms to Go know, but it took a month for someone to come evaluate it. They said they were unable to fix it with what they had on hand. We had to wait over another month for another repair person to come, who again said it couldn’t be fixed and that it wasn’t safe to sit on. It has now been almost 3 months since we bought this and are frustrated at the waste of money this purchase turned out to be. Was hoping for better quality or at least a reasonable attempt to fix the problem. Would recommend avoiding this chair and rooms to go in general given this ongoing experience.
