What is the advantage of choosing a manual reclining mechanism over a power model?
The manual reclining mechanism on this chair offers a combination of simplicity and reliability. Without the need for electric motors or proximity to a power outlet, you have more flexibility in where you place the chair in your home—ideal for floating furniture arrangements in the center of a room. Manual recliners are often preferred for their "tried-and-true" durability, as they rely on a sturdy internal lever system that requires minimal maintenance over the life of the chair.
Is this rocker recliner a good option for a nursery or a dedicated relaxation nook?
Absolutely. The rocking feature provides a gentle, soothing motion that is ideal for nurseries or creating a peaceful reading corner. Its traditional "Stone" beige finish offers a versatile, light-toned aesthetic that can brighten up smaller rooms or complement airy, coastal-inspired decors. With a 42-inch width, it provides a generous, "bucket seat" feel without the overwhelming footprint of larger sectional pieces.
What are the benefits of the top grain leather upholstery on this recliner?
This recliner features top grain leather wherever the body touches, offering a premium seating experience that balances luxury with long-term durability. Top grain leather is highly prized for its supple feel and natural resistance to wear, often lasting 10 to 15 years with proper care. This makes it an excellent investment for high-traffic living rooms or homes with pets, as leather is naturally more resistant to snags and easier to wipe clean than most fabric alternatives.
What kind of ergonomic support does the bucket seat and chaise design provide?
This chair is engineered for deep comfort, featuring a contoured bucket seat that helps distribute body weight evenly and reduce pressure points. The padover chaise footrest is a hallmark of high-quality recliners, providing continuous support from your hips down to your toes. Combined with the pillowtop arms and pillow-back style, this design is specifically crafted to support the natural curvature of the spine for extended periods of lounging.
How should I clean and maintain the leather to ensure its longevity?
Based on our expertise with premium leather, we recommend regular dusting with a soft, dry cloth to prevent debris from settling into the grain. For minor spills, a dampened cloth with mild soap and warm water is usually sufficient. To keep the leather supple and prevent cracking—especially in drier climates or homes with central heating—our care guides suggest applying a high-quality leather conditioner every 6 to 12 months.
How much space is needed for this recliner to operate properly in a living room?
To ensure full functionality, we recommend allowing 11 inches of wall spacing for the back to tilt comfortably. When the manual mechanism is fully engaged, the padover chaise footrest provides a 16-inch extension, offering total support for your legs. Measuring your space beforehand is essential; ensure there is adequate clearance for the footrest to extend without obstructing walkways or hitting coffee tables.

later. I will never buy from Rooms To Go again and I will discourage everyone I know.
Furniture is great, have no problems. Customer service is absolutely worst I have ever seen. I had purchased 2 end tables to go with furniture but they couldn't be delivered for weeks after delivery of sofa and recliners. I asked if I could purchase the end tables on display and was told no so I asked for a refund for the tables. I was told no problem, a check would go out that day and I should allow 2 weeks to receive by mail. I was also told for, some unknown reason, I could not go to the store and get a check. After 2 weeks and no check I called and was given no answers other than they didn't and didn't see where a check was sent and they would call me back. Never got a call back so I called the next day and got the same answer. Still never got a call back so called again the day after that and was told I had to wait 21 business days before they could look into this. After numerous calls, rude, unhelpful employees and being told several different lies, I finally got a check a month
Love the color and very comfortable but extremely difficult to put the recliner down sitting in the chair. Have to physically get out of the chair stand up to use hands or feet to push back in depending on your age group using the chair at the time.
