The product was placed at the basement entrance, at the back door of my house, completely disregarding the correct delivery location, which was the main entrance/living room area. Even after I politely asked them to bring it to the proper location, the delivery team refused to carry it up the stairs. What is most serious — and truly unacceptable — is that this is a very heavy piece of furniture, and I had recently undergone surgery, making me physically unable to lift weight. Despite that, I was put in a position where my husband and I had to do the heavy lifting ourselves — something that should have been the responsibility of the delivery team, who were fully equipped with carts and proper tools. This was not just a mistake. It was a clear display of negligence, lack of basic human consideration, and complete disrespect. What should have been a simple delivery turned into an exhausting, humiliating, and deeply frustrating experience. This was not just a poorly executed delivery — it was, without a doubt, the worst consumer experience I have ever had. My first purchase from Rooms to Go will absolutely be my last.
