Wakefield Brown Outdoor Club Chair with Denim Cushions

The shadowbox back features a rattan-style weave that provides a sophisticated, multi-dimensional look from any angle. This is particularly beneficial for patio layouts where the back of the chair is visible to guests. Practically, the open-weave design also promotes airflow, which helps the chair feel cooler and prevents heat from being trapped against the cushions during the peak of summer.

This chair is specifically engineered for high-UV environments, such as those found in Florida or Texas. The cushions are upholstered in Sunbrella fabric, which is widely considered the industry gold standard for fade resistance. Unlike standard fabrics where color is only on the surface, Sunbrella fibers are saturated to the core with UV-stable pigments. This ensures the denim blue hue remains vibrant and the material stays structurally sound even after years of exposure to intense sunlight.

Yes, this chair is an excellent choice for coastal regions. It features an all-weather synthetic frame that is naturally resistant to rust, rot, and corrosion caused by salt air. Additionally, the Sunbrella fabric is inherently resistant to mold and mildew growth. These materials are non-porous and designed to shed water efficiently, ensuring the chair remains durable and easy to maintain in damp, humid conditions.

Based on our material expertise, Sunbrella fabric is remarkably easy to maintain. Most everyday dirt and spills can be cleared with a simple solution of mild soap and lukewarm water. For deeper cleaning or tougher outdoor stains, the fabric is unique in that it can be treated with a diluted bleach solution without fear of losing its color. We recommend regular light brushing of the cushions to prevent dirt from becoming embedded in the weave.

Comfort is integrated into the structural design through a sling seat deck positioned beneath the cushions. This feature provides a subtle "give" that mimics the ergonomics of high-end indoor furniture, preventing the firm, rigid feel often associated with outdoor frames. When combined with the plush cushions, this sling-support system offers a more relaxed and supportive seating experience for extended periods.

With dimensions of 32.5"w x 31.5"d, this chair is designed to provide a spacious "club" seating experience while maintaining a relatively compact footprint. Its sleek frame and vertical shadowbox detail create a sense of openness, making it a strategic choice for maximizing comfort on smaller urban balconies or in cozy backyard corners without overcrowding the space.
