Wakefield Brown Outdoor Club Chair with Oat Cushions

To keep the oat-colored Sunbrella fabric looking its best, we recommend a simple maintenance routine. Most dirt and debris can be brushed off or rinsed away with a garden hose. For tougher stains, a solution of mild soap and lukewarm water is usually sufficient. Because the fabric is solution-dyed, the color is integrated into the core of the fibers, allowing for effective cleaning without the risk of losing the soothing oat brown hue.

Unlike standard outdoor chairs with rigid slats, this chair features a hidden sling seat deck beneath the cushions. This design provides a "suspended" seating experience with a slight amount of give, which enhances overall comfort and pressure relief. Furthermore, the sling material allows for better airflow through the chair, which helps the cushions dry more quickly after a rain shower or professional cleaning.

The cushions are upholstered in Sunbrella fabric, the industry gold standard for outdoor performance. In high-sun environments like Florida or Arizona, Sunbrella’s UV-resistant fibers prevent fading and degradation over time. Additionally, for humid or rainy climates, this fabric is specifically engineered to be breathable and resistant to mold and mildew, ensuring the cushions remain fresh and comfortable season after season.

This club chair is engineered with high-quality, all-weather frames designed to withstand various environmental stressors without warping or rusting. The construction features synthetic materials that mimic the aesthetic of dark wood and rattan but offer superior resistance to moisture and temperature fluctuations. This makes it an excellent long-term investment for patios that face direct exposure to the elements.

With a footprint of 32.5"w x 31.5"d, this chair offers a generous, deep-seated "club" feel without the bulk of traditional oversized outdoor lounge furniture. Its sleek silhouette and unique shadowbox back provide visual interest without appearing heavy, making it an ideal choice for urban balconies or compact suburban patios where maximizing both style and floor space is a priority.

Yes, the materials used in this chair are well-suited for both coastal and poolside environments. The all-weather synthetic frame and woven shadowbox back are resistant to the corrosive effects of salt air and chlorine. To maintain the finish in these specific conditions, our care experts recommend a periodic rinse with fresh water to remove any salt or chemical residue that may accumulate on the surface.
