Westmere Premium Sleeper Gel Sofa

Because the sofa arrives fully assembled without requiring customer assembly, an entryway or interior doorway of at least 32 to 36 inches in width is recommended. At 37 inches deep and 39 inches high, the sofa can be angled using a standard diagonal tilt technique to clear doorways and tight turns. Removing the loose cushions prior to moving also reduces bulk and makes navigation through narrow hallways significantly easier.

Yes. The upholstery is woven from 100% polyester chenille, which combines a soft, velvety hand-feel with high synthetic durability. Polyester fibers naturally resist stretching, tearing, and abrasion from regular daily use. In addition, the sofa features reinforced top-stitched seams along the flared arms and seat borders, providing extra structural strength at key stress points.

Yes, the sofa includes matching jacquard accent pillows. The textured woven patterns on the pillows add visual dimension and complement the neutral dove gray/beige chenille upholstery and tailored flared arms.

Measuring 94.5 inches wide, 37 inches deep, and 39 inches high, this sofa is generously scaled and ideally suited for primary living rooms or spacious guest suites. When planning your layout, account for the full 94.5-inch width against your chosen wall and ensure at least 85 to 90 inches of total clearance from the back wall forward. This depth provides enough room for the sleeper mechanism to extend fully while still leaving space to walk around the foot of the bed.

For regular maintenance, gently vacuum the chenille upholstery every few weeks using an upholstery brush attachment to remove dust and prevent dirt from embedding into the pile. If a spill happens, blot the area immediately with a clean, dry, absorbent white cloth—avoid rubbing or scrubbing, which can damage the nap of the fabric. For spot cleaning, our fabric care guidelines recommend testing a mild, water-free cleaning solvent on a hidden seam before treating stains.

Traditional sleeper sofas frequently use thin innerspring mattresses where guests can feel individual coils or the underlying crossbar. This sofa features a built-in Nature's Bed gel-foam mattress, which contours evenly to the body to relieve pressure points along the hips and shoulders. The gel-infused foam also helps dissipate body heat more effectively than conventional foam, providing cooler, more restful support for overnight guests.
