Since this stool features an adjustable gas lift, it provides the versatility to serve both standard kitchen counters (typically 36 inches high) and taller home bars (42 inches high). To ensure optimal comfort, we recommend maintaining a 10-to-12-inch gap between the seat and the underside of your counter. This adjustable design is an excellent, future-proof option if you anticipate moving or changing your seating layout in the future.
