Returns, Warranties & Cancellations Policy

Thank you for helping us ensure that customers have the best experience with Avocado’s products! Please find our processes below regarding how to handle Returns, Warranties & Cancellations for Avocado Green products.

 

COMFORT RETURNS

Comfort Returns must qualify through the Retailer’s Trial Period after which the Retailer has these options:

  • Retailers will approve the return and coordinate a pick from their customers’ home directly. The item(s) will be taken to their distribution center warehouse.
  • If permitted in your state, Retailers can sanitize the product and resell the mattress as a clearance item.
  • When the retailer is ready to have the items removed from their distribution center they can coordinate a pickup with Avocado directly.
    • The Retailer must ensure that all items are in a clean state, free of any stains, tears or damage.
    • Damaged items can be recycled or disposed of at your discretion.
    • Send an email to partnersinimpact@avocadogreenbrands.com with a list of the items available for donation, photos of the law tags attached to each item and an explanation for the return.

Avocado will process all Comfort Returns that are submitted to our Order Processing team. Any Return to Vendor credits will be in accordance with each Retailer’s Vendor Agreement.

 

WOOD FURNITURE RETURNS

Please note that all Wood Furniture, including Bed Frames, are Final Sale and do not permit Returns. Furniture damaged in transit and received by customers will qualify for a Warranty Replacement.

MATTRESS WARRANTY CLAIMS

All Avocado products are covered under the Manufacturer Warranty and include the following requirements for Mattresses:

  • Original proof of purchase is required from Avocado or an authorized reseller. (Warranties are not transferable)
  • The mattress must be opened within 30 days of receipt.
  • Law tags must remain in place, unaltered.
  • Abuse, mishandling, and neglect will void your warranty, including stains and unsanitary conditions. The warranty does not cover mold, odors, and/or discoloration caused by improper use. Mattresses can not be used directly on the floor.
  • Customers must rotate their mattress head-to-toe once a month for the first six months, then every other month for the life of the mattress, to ensure even wear.
  • Proper structural support and slat spacing is required.
    • These structural requirements are defined as having at least five to six (5-6) leg supports, with at least one (1) being a center support leg for a Queen, King, and California King Mattress, four (4) leg support for Twin and Full Mattresses. Queen, King, and California King slatted style bed frames cannot be greater than five (5) inches between each slat to provide ample structural support for the foundation and user(s). Each slat must be at least two and a half (2.5) inches wide. The structural support system must not flex; it must be unyielding.
  • The replacement will be of the same model and size as the original Mattress purchased. In no event will a substitution model be used as a replacement except for a discontinued Mattress.
    • Mattress Floor Models are not covered by the Warranty.

 

FURNITURE & FOUNDATION WARRANTY CLAIMS

All Avocado products are covered under the Manufacturer Warranty and include the following terms and conditions for furniture & foundations:

  • Original proof of purchase is required from Avocado or an authorized reseller. Warranties are not transferable.

Furniture Warranty Does Not Cover

  • Furniture Floor Models are not covered by the Warranty.
  • Normal wear and tear as a result of intended use.
  • The natural character of reclaimed wood furniture includes smoothed nail holes, natural patina, fine cracks, and other weathering.
  • Physical abuse or damage to the furniture, including but not limited to burns, nicks, cuts, tears, liquid damage, or stains, provided that the defect is caused by such abuse or damage.
  • Furniture that has been impacted by heat and humidity fluctuations may result in small joint separations or hairline cracks. Protect your furniture by avoiding direct contact with air conditioning and heating vents.

 

BEDDING AND PILLOW WARRANTY:

All Avocado products are covered under the Manufacturer Warranty and include the following terms and conditions for bedding and pillows:

  • Original proof of purchase is required from Avocado or an authorized reseller. Warranties are not transferable.

Bedding & Pillow Warranty Does Not Cover:

  • Floor Models (Product Displays) are not covered by the Warranty.
  • Normal wear and tear as a result of washing and intended use.
  • Comfort preference.
  • Physical abuse or damage to the product, including but not limited to burns, cuts, tears, liquid damage, or stains, provided that the defect is caused by such abuse or damage.

 

MAKING A CLAIM: (Dependant on retailer agreement)

To make a valid claim under this Mattress Warranty, fill out the appropriate warranty claim form. All requirements are listed on the warranty claim form.
