From the moment you lie down, organic latex cradles your body — buoyant, breathable, and never heat-trapping like memory foam. Premium models layer in silky-soft Pure Talalay® latex for an even plusher feel.
Up to twice as many coils as conventional designs, with up to seven ergonomic zones, deliver targeted spinal alignment and reinforced edge support. Avocado manufactures every coil in-house using recycled steel.
Breathable organic cotton, moisture-wicking wool, and open-air latex promote airflow through every layer. The recycled-steel coil system adds ventilation that conventional foam mattresses can't match — for cool, dry sleep all night long.
Every Avocado mattress holds GOTS finished-product certification — the standard for fully certified organic mattresses, not just one material inside it.
This time-honored technique enhances durability and long-term comfort. It's why an Avocado mattress feels as good in year ten as it did the night you unboxed it.
Hand needle-tufting eliminates the chemical adhesives most mattresses depend on, creating a bond that holds for decades. Adult mattresses are backed by limited warranties of up to 25 years.
This 400 thread-count organic cotton sheet set is made with a breathable, GOTS-certified organic cotton weave that softens with every wash. Includes a flat sheet, a fitted sheet, and pillowcases.

Is a 400 thread count high enough for a premium feel?
Yes. In the industry, a 400 thread count is often considered the "sweet spot" for high-quality cotton. Unlike lower-quality bedding that uses multi-ply yarns to artificially inflate thread counts, these sheets utilize premium organic cotton in a breathable weave. This provides a perfect balance of durability, a substantial hand-feel, and excellent airflow, which is often superior to higher-count sheets made from inferior materials.
How do I care for these sheets to ensure they stay soft over time?
This specific organic cotton weave is designed to actually soften with every wash. To preserve the long-staple fibers and the GOTS-certified integrity, we recommend washing in cool or warm water with a mild, eco-friendly detergent. Based on our expertise with organic textiles, avoiding high-heat drying cycles will prevent the fibers from becoming brittle, ensuring the sheets maintain their crisp yet soft texture for years.
Can I use California King sheets on a standard King size bed?
It is not recommended. A California King mattress is longer (84") and narrower (72") than a standard King (80"l x 76"w). If you attempt to use these sheets on a standard King, the fitted sheet will be too tight across the width and have excess material at the foot, which will likely cause the corners to slip off during the night.
Will these sheets stay secure on a thick mattress or one with a topper?
This fitted sheet is designed with a 16-inch pocket depth, which is engineered to accommodate most modern mattresses. Whether you have a deep mattress or a standard one with an added protector, the 84"l x 72"w dimensions ensure a proper, snug fit specifically tailored for the unique profile of a California King bed.
Are these sheets suitable for hot sleepers or humid climates?
Organic cotton is an ideal material for moisture management. Because it is naturally porous and moisture-wicking, it allows for significantly better heat dissipation than synthetic blends. This makes the set an excellent choice for "hot sleepers" or those living in humid coastal climates, as it helps regulate body temperature to keep you cool and dry throughout the night.
What are the advantages of GOTS-certified organic cotton for bedding?
GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) is the world's leading processing standard for organic fibers. This certification guarantees that the cotton is grown without synthetic pesticides and processed under strict environmental and social criteria. For the sleeper, this means bedding that is free from harsh chemical residues, making it a safer, more breathable choice for those with sensitive skin or allergies.
