The product seems solid like a foundation should. I should have purchased the 5" vs. 9" as I have to practically leap to get into bed as so high, but product is solid.

Best mattress set ever

The foundation goes perfectly with the mattress and together they provide the best night's sleep you will ever get! This is my 2nd Sterns & Foster mattress set and I will not purchase anything else. I have scoliosis since childhood and metal rods in my back and this mattress makes such a difference in the way I sleep—no back pain while sleeping on this mattress set.
