This chest is the third time they exchanged it for me , still the same problem, some of the drawers don’t close or open correctly
Still waiting on person to do the touch up work as there were a couple of the fax in the chest
Buyer-Beware (the gold flakes off)
I ordered this collection and it was delivered on 12/21/22. Included in the order was a complete queen size bed, 2 end tables, a dresser and a chest. The collection is absolutely beautiful! BUT...The gold trim was flaking on every single item delivered. These items were shipped in Styrofoam and cardboard boxes so the gold flaking must be a deficiency in the manufacturing process. However, the wood was separating on the corner of one end table and there was a gouge on the corner of another end table. That wood was stained on top of the gouge so this was also done in the manufacturing process. The footboard had a fresh gouge in it as well. On top of this, the delivery team left Styrofoam and miscellaneous paper trash in the street. Every single item in this collection has to be returned and exchanged. This is quite the let down after waiting 3 weeks for the delivery. R2Go offered to exchange the items (delivered a week later) but I declined because (1. who wants to wait any longer for furniture? 2. I believe the gold will flake again.)
Furniture quality
So far the bedroom set of okay. The base of the drawers are a bit thin. Hence, the quality is not the best. We have only had it for a few weeks. Hence, time will tell the true quality of the furniture.
