Q&A answers generated with AI assistance.
What type of mattress and support does this bed require?
This twin-size bed is designed to accommodate a standard twin mattress. Please note that the mattress and foundation are sold separately. Depending on the desired height of the sleep surface, you may choose to use a standard foundation or a low-profile bunkie board. Our experts recommend using a sturdy foundation to ensure total mattress support and prevent sagging over time.
Is an enclosed canopy bed a good choice for children who need a calming sleep environment?
Many parents find that a canopy bed provides a sense of security and a "den-like" environment that can be particularly beneficial for children with sensory needs or those who struggle with overstimulation at bedtime. The included white fabric canopy helps to create a cozy, defined space that fosters a feeling of safety, helping your child transition into a restful night's sleep.
Is this white canopy bed durable enough for an active child?
This bed is constructed with high-quality birch veneers, a material selected for its strength and ability to maintain a smooth, consistent finish over time. The "sparkle white" finish is specifically designed for the Disney Princess collection to offer a regal aesthetic while providing a resilient surface that stands up to the daily adventures of a child’s bedroom.
Will the height of this bed work in a bedroom with a ceiling fan?
This bed stands at a total height of 78 inches (6.5 feet) to the top of its acrylic crystal finials. When placing a canopy bed in a room with a ceiling fan, we recommend ensuring at least 12 to 18 inches of clearance between the top of the bed posts and the fan blades for safety and optimal air circulation. Its 43.5-inch width makes it an excellent choice for standard-sized bedrooms, providing a grand focal point without overwhelming the floor space.
How do you maintain the fabric canopy and the "sparkle white" finish?
To preserve the look of your furniture, we recommend dusting the wood surfaces regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For any localized stains on the finish or the white fabric canopy, our care guidelines suggest using a soft cloth or sponge with mild soap and warm water. It is important to avoid harsh chemicals or abrasives, as these can damage the specialized sparkle finish or the delicate swirling ribbon motifs.

Very Disappointed With My Overall Experience”
I was very disappointed with my experience with Rooms To Go. The communication and customer service were poor, and no one followed up on my concerns. I felt the staff were rude and unprofessional. I paid the full amount in cash and received no discount or help with the delivery fee. I also have a concern about the bunkie board. Richard told me it was free, but my receipt shows the bed charged at $1,078.99 instead of the $999 price I understood. I would like an explanation for the additional $79.99 charge. I also asked to exchange the nightstands for the 3 drawer style and even offered to bring them back to the store myself. I was told to wait, but I am still waiting for a resolution. I already knew exactly what I wanted when I visited the store, drove about 45 miles, made my purchase in about 10 minutes, and left. I was asked to leave a nice comment about Richard, but I cannot honestly say I received exceptional service when that was not my experience. Overall, I am very disappointed
Cute but needs a box
This bed is cute and my daughter is happy with it. It feels flumsy and it requires a box, which the seller (or the website) did not tell us, so we had to go and buy one. The skirt does not look like the one in the picture.
Very Happy with the service
