Question 1

What hygiene and antimicrobial features are built into this mattress?

Accepted Answer

The mattress is designed to stay fresh and clean through two primary features:
* **Ionexsis Anti-Microbial Finish:** Integrated into the woven Jacquard and Lurex fabric cover to resist odor-causing microbes and keep the sleep surface fresh.
* **Copper and Silver Infusions:** The 5-Z TheraCool QuadTech Gel Foam layer incorporates natural copper and silver elements, which help maintain a cleaner, more hygienic mattress interior.

Question 2

Can this twin XL mattress be used in a split king bed setup or for a tall adult in a smaller space?

Accepted Answer

Yes. At 38 inches wide by 79.5 inches long, a twin XL mattress offers the same length as a standard king or queen mattress, making it an excellent choice for tall individuals in compact apartments or dorm rooms who need full legroom without taking up extra width. Furthermore, placing two twin XL mattresses side by side creates the exact dimensions of a standard King bed (76 inches wide by 80 inches long), making them the standard choice for split king adjustable bases. The TheraWrap coil construction also minimizes motion transfer, allowing each side to move independently without disturbing a partner.

Question 3

How does this mattress regulate temperature for hot sleepers?

Accepted Answer

This mattress features a multi-tiered cooling design engineered to dissipate body heat and enhance airflow:
* **TheraCool Gel Foam:** Positioned to provide immediate cushioning while actively pulling heat away from the body upon lying down.
* **5-Z TheraCool QuadTech Gel Foam:** Advanced memory foam infused with copper, silver, and graphite to create a cooler, drier, and more breathable sleep environment.
* **iFlex Patented Hybrid Quilt:** Incorporates 1,728 micro-coils directly into the quilted top layer to maximize continuous internal airflow.

Question 4

What are the exact dimensions of this twin XL mattress, and will standard twin sheets fit?

Accepted Answer

This mattress measures 38 inches wide, 79.5 inches deep, and 13.5 inches high. Because it is approximately 5 inches longer than a standard twin mattress (which measures 75 inches in length), standard twin sheets will not fit. You will need Twin XL fitted sheets, and due to the substantial 13.5-inch profile, sheets with deep pockets are recommended to ensure a snug, secure fit.

Question 5

What type of spinal support and pressure relief does this mattress provide?

Accepted Answer

The core of the mattress is the TheraWrap 934 5-Zone Support System with Foam Encasement, which provides targeted support tailored to five anatomical zones to relieve pressure along the shoulders, lower back, and hips. To reinforce proper spinal alignment and durability, the structure includes TheraSponse HD Extra Firm Comfort Foam, which creates a stable, long-lasting foundation that resists sagging.
