Elmpond Black 55 in. Console with Electric Fireplace

This electric fireplace is designed to provide supplemental heat for rooms up to 400 or 500 square feet. It is an excellent solution for "zone heating," allowing you to keep your primary living area or bedroom cozy without the need to turn up the thermostat for the entire house. This is particularly effective in draftier rooms or finished basements that require an extra boost of warmth during winter months.

This console requires customer assembly. It is designed with a structured, architectural frame that anchors the room once complete. We recommend having a second person available to assist with the assembly process, particularly when positioning the fireplace insert into the mantel to ensure the unit is perfectly aligned and secure.

This console features a 55-inch wide mantel, making it an ideal base for most flat-screen televisions up to 60 inches (measured diagonally). For the best visual balance and stability, we recommend ensuring your TV stand fits within the 55-inch width of the surface. Its 16-inch depth also provides a sturdy platform for modern slim-profile media setups.

This unit is designed with safety as a priority for family environments. Unlike traditional fireplaces, the glass front remains cool to the touch even while the heater is active, significantly reducing the risk of accidental burns. Additionally, since there is no real combustion, there are no open flames, sparks, or harmful fumes to worry about, providing a worry-free atmosphere for your pets and children.

One of the primary benefits of this electric model is that it requires virtually no upkeep compared to traditional fireplaces—there is no soot, ash, or smoke to clean. To maintain the bold black finish of the mantel, we recommend occasionally dusting with a soft, dry cloth. For the glass front, a standard glass cleaner applied to a cloth (rather than sprayed directly) will keep the lifelike flame effects looking vivid and clear.

Yes, this console is a perfect upgrade for urban apartments or rental homes where installing a traditional wood-burning or gas fireplace is not possible. Because it is electric and requires no venting, chimneys, or gas lines, you can enjoy the ambiance of a fire anywhere with a standard electrical outlet. Its 34-inch height and clean-lined silhouette offer a sophisticated architectural focal point without overwhelming smaller floor plans.
