Beetle infestation
When we first received the three tables after having to wait nearly 3 months I loved them. However, weeks later we noticed what appeared to be sawdust around tiny holes in the wood. Upon closer inspection we saw a live bug boring up through the wood, and then going back into the hole. Upon closer examination we found multiple small holes in all life’s. Some were dried out but some had what appeared to be larvae. Researching it I learned that they are powder post beetles and can be dormant for very long periods of time. They’re in the wood used to manufacture the tables which were made in India. We killed 2 beetles but there were mire inside because we kept finding more powdery material on the surface. The tables were picked up by Rooms to Go and I am expecting a complete refund!
