Melgos Blue Artwork

To preserve the vibrant blue, green, and yellow pigments of this hand-painted scene, we recommend avoiding placement in direct, prolonged sunlight. While the canvas and dark walnut-finished wood frame are high-quality, UV rays can eventually dull handcrafted paints. Placing this piece on a wall that receives indirect light will help maintain its "serene, atmospheric" quality for years to come.

Given its substantial dimensions (40" x 54.75") and solid wood frame, this artwork requires secure mounting. We recommend using heavy-duty picture hangers or wall anchors rated for the weight of large-scale decor. For the greatest stability, especially in high-traffic areas or homes with children, try to secure at least one mounting point into a wall stud to ensure the piece remains level and safe.

While the wood frame is sturdy, hand-painted canvases are porous and sensitive to moisture. In humid environments or bathrooms with showers, steam can cause the canvas to slacken or the wood frame to expand over time. This piece is best suited for climate-controlled environments like living rooms, bedrooms, or hallways where humidity levels remain stable.

This is a hand-painted canvas, which offers a level of texture and depth that digital prints cannot replicate. Because each piece is individualy painted by an artist, you will notice subtle variations in the atmospheric blue and green strokes. These unique nuances ensure that your artwork is a one-of-a-kind statement piece rather than a standard reproduction.

Measuring for a piece of this scale—standing at nearly 55 inches tall—requires a focus on vertical space. As a general design rule, artwork should occupy approximately two-thirds to three-quarters of the available wall space. For the most balanced look, we recommend hanging this piece so the center point is 57 to 60 inches from the floor, which aligns with standard eye level and creates a professional, gallery-style presentation.

Because this is a hand-painted surface, you should never use liquid cleaners or chemicals, which can dissolve the paint or damage the canvas fibers. Our expertise in fine home decor suggests using a soft, dry microfiber cloth or a natural feather duster to gently remove surface dust. Regular light dusting will prevent buildup and keep the colors looking crisp.
